Northwest Cable News and King 5 March 2015-August 2014 RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fill-in meteorologist for weekday morning and weeknight shows. I am responsible for updating multiple platforms starting with the station internet, and all social media sites. I am also responsible for recording the most up to date radio forecast.
Video shoots/articles on project basis. I gather information on projects/stories in specific areas, stay updated on grammar and project related aspects, writing small drafts, editing and proofreading the drafts, checking for facts and human elements for every story, adhere to deadlines, work on special projects if suitable, get written work approved by the chief editor, coordinating with editing manager and administrative staff, demonstrating excellent writing skills. Award winning “journalist”, duties also include posting to multimedia/social sites when applicable.
