• Solo anchored and produced hour-long morning segment “KETK Today Weekend Edition” and achieved the highest weekend morning show ratings boost in station history of 1,000%
• Created, presented, and produced “What’s Up with That?” (a weekly news segment in which viewers questions are investigated and answered.)
• Responsible for writing, shooting and editing daily news stories

• Secured multiple exclusive interviews with: Texas Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison,

family (from the hit TLC show)
• Updated station’s website daily; maintaining community networking through blogging and social networking sites
• Lead reporter for KETK in both Hurricane Gustav and Ike – coordinated and produced live shots and stories from multiple locations along the Gulf Coast in addition to supporting crew and reporters from The Weather Channel during both storms
